Daughter 7 years old played with her best friend every day for 3 years, 1.5 months ago he suddenly just started playing with another neighbor child (boy).
My daughter was very distressed, she also saw her boyfriend going to the neighbor boy every day and had to see that “again” he didn't want to play with her.
This went on for a month. On Halloween we had a party because we are friends with the boy's parents. She was so happy that her boyfriend was coming too.
It started about 1 hour beforehand that her right eye hurt.
We (daughter, best friend and the moms) went from house to house, during which time it was unbearable for my daughter.
She even pulled the headband down over her eyes.
She screamed in pain, had a red eye, severe itching, it looked like conjunctivitis.
She then lay on the couch the whole time while her boyfriend played without her.
When the party was over, she asked: Has everyone left? I said yes.
I asked her how she was doing: fine now.
The next day, everything was fine.
She lost sight of her best friend mentally (although she still saw him physically), she couldn't bear to look at him anymore. (It was really so bad for her that she even wrote a diary entry).
She has now learned that you can't hold people down and that they also have the right to play with others. She herself is also freer and now plays with others and is no longer so dependent on him.

Thank you for the interesting report. A classic “visual-separation conflict”.
The conflict-active phase remains unnoticed with cell minus in the conjunctiva.
In the healing phase (“finally we are playing together again!”) the cells are rebuilt. This is only possible with a high metabolism (redness, swelling, pain, inflammation).
Such intensive healing phases are usually short. Colloidal silver or simply a cold washcloth would be suitable.
