My 5-year-old L. developed two large warts on the soles of his feet shortly after starting kindergarten. We first looked for the cause in his shoes. L. was allowed to throw all the shoes he didn't like in the bin himself. Unfortunately, this didn't help at all.
The warts became unbearable and L. could hardly walk. Then we thought: Warts on the soles of the feet, can't just be caused by shoes, it can also be about the “location” - and that's exactly what it was!
L. had been going to kindergarten for more than three months now, even though mom and dad didn't really want him to.

The story:
We didn't want to put our son (third child) in kindergarten because I wanted to give him another nice year at home with me. I now know how to prepare a child for school myself. Unfortunately, it is compulsory in Austria for children to go to kindergarten at least one year before starting school.
Unfortunately, we didn't get an exemption from the youth welfare office either and now had to look for a kindergarten for L. (our local kindergarten simply didn't suit us). Thank goodness we found a very nice one. L. loved going there, everything was really fine there - he was a happy boy.

The conflict was resolved when we explained to our son that we thought it was great that he was going to the daycare center and that we were happy that he liked it there so much.
The warts changed after just one week. They shrank, turned blackish and then simply fell off. After three weeks, both warts had completely disappeared.
The photo on the left shows both warts during the location conflict. In the picture on the right, the lower of the two warts is already disappearing. The second one is just getting dark.

Thanks for the great report. Warts represent a hanging separation conflict. The epidermis thickens at certain points. In this case, wanting to be separated.
The little one obviously felt the stress of the parents in relation to his “location”. The conflict resolved when they told their son that kindergarten was fine with them.
