Our 10-year-old daughter loves to be gently cuddled/caressed by us when she goes to bed/goes to sleep.
At some point in the summer, my wife also gave her a full body massage.
Since then, she has been asking from time to time if she can have a massage again.
About 14 days ago it was time again. My wife was persuaded. The very next day, our daughter developed a rash/small pimples on the back of her knees. In the crooks of her arms, a little below her bottom and in the upper part of her back it came a little later and was also lighter. It's not completely gone yet, but it will come back.
In any case, it was amazing to see how much she wanted physical contact.
I'm also slowly finding out when she gets the sniffles. The last time she got it was when one of her teachers from last year, with whom she had close contact, turned up at school for a visit.

Thank you for the beautiful report. You can feel in every line how relationship-oriented your little one is.
Rashes on the insides always indicate a previous lack of touch/contact. The solution was massage.
Sniffles stand for a resolved being-on-alert-conflict (“Where is she?” “When will she be back?”).
It would be interesting to find out what imprinting made your daughter so sensitive to non-contact/relationship. E.g. unresolved issue with a parent, pregnancy, birth.
When asked, it is confirmed that the little one was born prematurely and was separated from her mother after the first few days.
