Description
This is an 8 year old right handed girl. She was born with clubfeet. Her foster mother is my friend. The daughter always complained about pain in her feet, which had been present since infancy.
I advised my friend to put away the splint that she used to have to wear because of her feet, so that the daughter doesn't see it every day. And to talk to her about never having to wear this splint again. The biological mother had put the splint on the girl, put her to bed for hours and closed the door. Once this splint was in place, the girl could not move.
The mother talked to her daughter and a short time later she developed a fever and severe pain in her feet. It hasn't been that bad so far - so the final conflict-solved phase began. The mother couldn't tell me whether she had an epileptic seizure during the epi-crisis, but the pain decreased day by day and has now completely disappeared.
