I shared the office with a colleague, which was actually a converted 2-room apartment.
The small company grew and 3 new employees were hired within a short space of time.
It became cramped in the office and the one new colleague was very loud and dominant.
She had a habit of talking loudly to her two subordinates over my head, which I found very inconsiderate and annoyed me terribly.
I hated her and couldn't get rid of her.

Over time, I noticed how the skin on both my elbows and on my kneecaps became very thick, red and knobbly, sometimes scaly and itchy.
I realized that these were the places on my body that I was using to fight them off and hold my own in the office.
I wanted to push them away and didn't like going to work any more.

So I quit my job and was able to avoid the conflict.
I was really relieved.
After a while, the skin on my elbows and kneecaps was back to normal and has remained so ever since.
